Hardly anyone to do corrective measures, Nagaland CM on Naga talks

Urging the Nagas to be united and find a settlement to the Naga political issue, Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio said that many people talk about politics but there is hardly anyone to act and to do the corrective measures.

For the last 17 decades, Nagas have been suffering for the Naga political issue, because it is our birth right, but we have to be reasonable and responsible in a manner that what is possible and what is not and what is achievable, the chief minister said while participating the 71st Chakhesang Students’ Union General Conference coinciding with Pfutseromi Students’ Union as a guest at Pfutseromi village in Phek district.

“The present student leaders are the future of our society, therefore we have to take life seriously and learn equip ourselves to face the challenging world. Government of India has recognized our unique history our culture and traditions. The students and youth of today have to work together to build our future,” Rio said.

Speaking at the gathering, the chief minister said that he was delighted to be part of the celebration and extended warm new year greetings to all present at the celebration. He said, “We live in a very competitive world and that life is not easy and therefore, we have to be very serious in life.”
