Nagaland trailed by 198 runs on day three of their Ranji Trophy encounter with Sikkim before bad light stopped play on December 27 at the KIIT Cricket Stadium, Bhubaneswar.

Earlier, Sikkim were bowled out for 269 runs in their first innings in 74.4 overs. Iqbal Abdulla was their highest scorer with 94 runs followed by Jahan with 39 runs.

For Nagaland SS Mundhe, Imliwati, Nagaho, and Tahmeed took two wickets each.

Nagaland meanwhile were at 71 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 21 overs before play was stopped. Tejosel had scored 28 runs while SS Mundhe scored 19 runs. Both wickets for Sikkim were bagged by Ishwar Chaudhary.

Cooch Behar Trophy : In the Cooch Behar Under-19 trophy, Sikkim trailed Nagaland by 303 runs at stumps of day one at the Colaghat DSA Ground on December 27. Batting first, Nagaland scored 324 runs before being bowled out in 76.2 overs. Vedansh was Nagaland’s highest scorer with 124 runs while Hem also scored 51 runs.

Rahul Kumar of Sikkim took 4 wickets while Anwesh had 3 wickets to his name. At stumps of the first day, Sikkim were art 21 runs having lost two wickets in 14 overs. Arjun and Ranjen from Nagaland took one wicket each.

CK Nayudu Trophy :  At the Under-23 Col CK Nayudu Trophy, bad light stopped the first day’s play between Nagaland and Chandigarh at the Nagaland Cricket Stadium, Sovima on December 27. Chandigarh, who are batting first, were at 102 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 34 Overs. Amrit Lal Lubana scored 36 runs while Sanchit Sahu scored 26 runs for their team. For Nagaland, Hopongkyu and Shamwang had two wickets to their names.
